The COSEC Panel Lite is an engineering marvel that is used for the access control application. It has two architecture- Standalone Architecture and Network Architecture. The Standalone Architecture works independently without the need for any server. On the other hand, the Network Architecture works as a bridge between the COSEC and the controller. The COSEC Panel Lite can operate up to 255 COSEC Door Controllers. Also, it can handle up to 25,000 users from its user interface. Apart from this, the COSEC Panel Lite can store up to 500,000. Also, it has RS-485, USB port for wireless network, fast speed data transfer, ethernet and state-of-the-art access control features.
- Ethernet and RS-485
- USB Port for Wi-Fi, 3G/4G and Data Transfer
- Auxiliary Input and Output Port
- Advanced Access Control Features
- Events Storage up to 500,000

Modes of Operations
Standalone Mode of Operation
The COSEC Panel Lite door controller works freely in the standalone architecture and doesn’t need a server for access control application purposes. The card-based and COSEC biometric door controllers are added to the side controller of the architecture. This connection’s main purpose is to implement modern access control features and restrict illegal entries in the organization.
The COSEC Panel Lite has an amazing user-friendly user interface that can manage up to 255 COSEC door controllers. Also, it can handle up to 25,000 users at a time. If you have a small or medium business that needs modern access control, it’s the perfect solution for you.
Network Mode of Operation
Unlike the standalone architecture, the COSEC Panel Lite will have to implement modern access control features in the network mode of operation. It connects the COSEC Door controllers and COSEC. RS-485 and ethernet are used to connect the card-based door controllers and biometric with the COSEC Panel Lite.
You’ll need the Network Mode of Operation when the capacity exceeds your door controller’s capacity. Again, if you need modern access control features like Man Trap, Duress detection, Guard tour, and so on, you’ll need the network mode of operation.
COSEC PANEL LITE is required in Network Architecture:
- When Number of User Capacity Exceeds the Door Controller’s Capacity
- For Advanced Access Control Features like Guard Tour, Man Trap, Dead-Man Zone, Duress Detection, Do Not Disturb, etc.
